Joplin Industrial Electric is a 3rd generation business that started in 1946 with my grandfather. We have been in multiple locations over the years but came to hopefully our final resting spot in the Crossroads Industrial Park in 2011. We built our 10 thousand square foot building in the Crossroads Industrial Park to accommodate our ever growing needs and to have better excess to I44 and I49 to better serve our customers. We employ between 35 to 50 employees on an average year depending on the construction demand. Joplin Industrial Electric pretty much does it all from small commercial projects, wastewater, water, traffic signals, religious, educational and industrial new plants and maintenance.
